Event Info

The Honor and Courage Foundation presents the

10th Annual 22 WOD To End Veteran Suicide CrossFit Event

Approximately 22 Veterans a day die by suicide.

In order to promote awareness and show our Nation’s Heroes from all eras they are not alone please join us in the 22 Workout of the Day (WOD) Fitness Event to End Veteran Suicide.

Registration and Sponsorship funds raised will go to help support access to the Stellate Ganglion Block Program, a possible breakthrough in PTSD treatment, and other Honor and Courage Foundation Programs such as Special Grants, and the 24/7 Hotline. In 2024 the foundation sponsored 10 SGB procedures, fielded 600+ hotline calls, and provided funds for dozens of military families in need. 

Event Details:

On February 22nd, 2025 we want to get as many Crossfit Boxes, Fitness centers, and individuals to to join together and complete a WOD in solidarity to End Veteran Suicide.

Each Box/Gym is free to create their own 22 WOD.  All we ask is that you have 22 exercises with each one being 22 Reps.  At minute 22 into the WOD we will all stop and take a moment of silence in memory of those who have died in this mental battle.

Suggested Donation: $22 pp or $35 with event t-shirt.

For gyms that wish to collect registrations day of, please assign a Team Leader and register under the Host Gym/Box Sign Up option HERE. Team Leaders will be responsible for collecting all donations and shirt orders the day of the event and ensuring funds are distributed to the Honor and Courage Foundation within 14 days of the close of the event. Gyms will have the option to receive an official host banner.  All gyms registered before 1/17/25 will have their gym name included on the t-shirts distributed to participants nationwide.

More Information:

Event Shirts: For those who pre-order by 1/31 you will receive your shirt prior to the 2/22 event. Orders received online or placed at the gym after 1/31 *may* be processed after the conclusion of the 2/22 event when all gyms have submitted info (approx 21-30 days after).  Once all orders are received a final batch of shirts will be sent to the printer. Please expect to receive shipping notice of your shirt 4-6 weeks after the event. *We are not responsible for delays in shipping due to postal carrier*. Shirts will be mailed to the address provided if ordered online. Gyms orders will be mailed to the gyms.

Registrations/Donations by mail can go to Honor and Courage Foundation, 960 Gladwyn Rd. Warminster PA. 18974. (Please add gym name in the Memo).

Funds raised will support the Honor and Courage Foundation to help combat Veteran suicide rates.  Donations are tax deductible  (Tax ID 93-1475929) (*Total tax deductible amount is $22 per registrant).

EVENT FAQ

We cannot do the event on the 22nd. Is it OK if we move to another day? Absolutely!  Please try to keep it as close to the 22nd as possible and within the scope of the event.

What time is the Fitness event? In order to best fit everyone’s box/gym   each gym and Team Leader should determine and communicate the time of the event.

What is the WOD?  Each box/gym will create their own 22 WOD.  All we ask is that you have 22 exercises with each one being 22 Reps.  We can provide a recommended WOD if helpful. 

Do we register in advance or at the gym? We encourage participants to register in advance of the event online. Please check with your gym to see if they are participating and have a Team Leader assigned.  For those gyms that sign up they will be taking donations/registrations the day of.

Do I have to be a member of a gym/box to participate? No. You are welcome to create a workout in your home or wherever you are most comfortable. However we do encourage you to check out the list of participating gyms HERE and see if there is one in your area you can check out and join.
